So, this was my first ever foreign trip, I was super excited to be in Singapore. Like almost everyone does, I also researched about the places to see in Singapore, things to do in Singapore and so on. And Madam Tussauds Wax Museum was mentioned almost in every search results about places to visit in Singapore.
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Singapore
Opened on October 25, 2014, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. It is situated at the Imbiah Lookout of Sentosa Island in Singapore. The Singapore museum is the seventh Asian branch of the Madame Tussauds chain of wax attractions worldwide. It is not just about the wax figures but there are the various experience to enjoy there which include the actor led shows, a boat ride and yes my favorite the dance thing, I don’t really know what do they call that.
There is a big LED screen in the museum which plays Bollywood songs visuals and you just have to stand in front of the screen and dance. You can then see yourself dancing in the screen with other stars. It was truly an amazing experience. I danced there for around half an hour on different Bollywood songs and had a great time.
I clicked some really crazy pictures there with the statues of Modi Ji, Gandhi Ji, kissing Sachin Tendulkar 😀 😀 So, ideally, 30-45 minutes are enough to take around of the museum and getting pictures clicked with the wax statues but I was inside for more than one and a half hours. Since it was my solo trip to Singapore, I had to request people to click my pictures and obviously everyone there was busy taking their own. I still was very lucky to get some good people around who took some lovely pictures of mine with the interesting statues.
Bollywood Wax Statues in Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Singapore
While there were numerous wax statues in the museum, being an Indian, the Indian statues were attracting me more. Besides the great statues of Narendra Modi Ji, Gandhi Ji, Sachin Tendulkar the museum has the statues of famous Bollywood celebs like Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareen Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and a few more.
I would especially like to mention here that the Wax Statue of Kareen Kapoor is very very poor. Kareena Kapoor looks really pretty and beautiful but here the statue makes her look so ugly and bad. Though I didn’t like Aishwarya Rai’s and Madhuri Dixit’s statue too, but Kareena’s was pathetic. Check the image below.

Overall, my experience of the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Singapore was very interesting and exciting and the dancing part was the best part indeed. I would certainly love to go back to Singapore once with my family now and have fun again.
